Dora - Reserved
Date of birth: 10.10.2024
Gender: female
Breed: mix of German Shorthaired Pointer and likely Montenegrin Mountain Hound
Weight: 53cm/25kg
Health and vaccination status: protected from infectious diseases
Character: Dora and her sisters are enthusiastic retrievers, love water, and need lots of mental stimulation along with several hours of exercise each day. They’re ideal for active people like joggers or cyclists who want a lively four-legged companion by their side – and the dogs absolutely love it!
They’re also excellent candidates for dog sports (starting from 1 year of age). From their father, they’ve inherited a wonderfully friendly and pleasant temperament. This makes them easy to integrate into families – they make fantastic companion dogs.
They strike a perfect balance: neither too calm nor overly hyper. Overall, they can be described as friendly, peaceful, and well-socialized. They’re also brave and resilient.
Dora is calmer than her siblings, although she is very lively and cheerful. She has been attacked several times by other sisters, so she has been living in another part of the garden for quite some time, where she gets along well with all the animals — she doesn’t attack cats or even birds there. Dora isn’t a dominant dog, but she is very friendly. She is waiting for her family and forever home!

Story: Dora and her sisters were born as one of ten puppies to a wonderful mother in a small Serbian village. Since their mama quickly won the hearts of the local people, the puppies were born in a large dog house, safe and protected. The neighbors came together to help, and both the mother and her puppies were well cared for.
Unfortunately, there were also some cruel people who threatened to report them to the state-run dog shelter – a place known as a kind of “dog prison.” That’s when we received urgent calls for help, and we didn’t hesitate – we immediately brought the little family to safety.
